The Moon and I #27

Follow me as we walk toward all the lightness I’ve created for your bones.

I can see my veins through my skin.

Once, my sister said I looked like paper,

All the sun seeping through.

Once, I wondered about what ran through and through like water bugs.

Illuminate yourself, they’ll tell you, time and again but in the end,

It isn’t anything anyone can contain like that.
